Why Youth? Why Sports?
Punjab has always been a land of warriors, farmers, and champions. But opportunity is not evenly distributed. The diaspora has a unique power — and a unique responsibility — to invest in the youth back home and here in the Bay Area. Through sports, education, and mentorship, we are building bridges that last generations.

What We Run
Our Programs
SportsCricket Academy
We fund and run cricket academies in rural Punjab, providing professional coaching, equipment, and tournament exposure to youth who would otherwise never get the chance.
SportsFootball Development
Our football program trains young players across three districts in Punjab, with Bay Area coaches volunteering remotely and in-person during annual visits.
EducationEducation Scholarships
We award annual scholarships to deserving students in Punjab and the Bay Area — covering tuition, books, and mentorship from Punjabi professionals in the diaspora.
Flagship Project
The Punjab Youth Sports Complex
A diaspora-funded stadium for the next generation
Our most ambitious project to date — a fully equipped multi-sport complex in Ludhiana, Punjab, built entirely with funds raised by the Apna Punjab Association of Bay Area and partner organizations across North America.
The complex will feature a cricket ground, football pitch, athletics track, changing rooms, and a community hall — serving thousands of young athletes every year. We have raised $125,000 toward our $1M goal. Construction begins when we reach our target. Your donation makes it real.
